You can find the slides of my speech at Manage-Agile in Berlin over at slideshare. This was a fantastic conference about managing scrum projects and organizations. A lot of interesting discussions took place.
This spring, a study claimed 51% of all swiss companies transformed their development to agile processes like Scrum. Now, a scientific study by FHNW and zhaw seconds that and found out that now 57% of the swiss IT companies changed to Scrum & Co.. According to that study, people and organizations feel more satisfied working in an agile environment than working with non-agile development processes.
In the upcoming Manage Agile Conference in Berlin, I will talk about agile project management and planning based on practical experience.
The slides of my 30 minutes speech at the Object Spectrum Days 2012 can be viewed online now. It abstracts the essence of agile requirements engineering.
According to a study recently published by SwissQ, 51% of the participating swiss companies answered that they use agile development processes to develop their software products. Finally, in 2011. Agile surpassed traditional approaches in product development in Switzerland. Interestingly, 32% think that they loose predictability using agile processes, although Scrum offers a very good forecast methology with proper release planning and velocity tracking. According to the study, only 38% of the participants use the velocity chart method in their agile projects.
bbv published a new booklet on Agile Requirements Engineering. The booklet is available for download as PDF.
Recently I held an entry speech at Medconf, a conference about product development for medical devices. I spoke about my experiences and challanges in agile product management and product ownership with Scrum in a complex medtech project with multiple development teams:
